Abstract: pathways expressed were in the IL-1, IFN-g, TNF, NFkB axis and the interferon-induced STAT1 pathway that would be expected in Th1 biased immune responses to viral infection. The gene networks for the Th2 cytokines IL-4 and IL-13, like the Th1 responses of IFN-g, showed more activation for the healthy subjects than the asthmatic and more activation by RV-A compared to RV-C peptides.
