Abstract:Pregnancy hypertensive disorder (PHD) is a broad term referring to conditions related to disorders of high blood pressure during pregnancy. Preeclampsia is one of 4 types of PHD characterized by an increase in systolic blood pressure ≤ 140 mmHg with a diastolic pressure ≤ 90 mmHg accompanied by proteinuria of 1+ or more.
