Micropuncture study of ion and water reabsorption regulation range in the distal tubule of triton nephron

Abstract: Micropuncture of the distal tubule in triton nephron and ultramicroanalysis of samples showed that vasotocin stimulates transport of Ca2+, Na+, Mg2+, and Cl- from the nephron lumen and increases permeability of the tubular wall for water. Prostaglandin E2 suppresses these processes.
