Abstract: Polylactic acid (PLA) and poly(ethylene terephthalate glycol) (PETG) are popular thermoplastics used in additive manufacturing applications. The mechanical properties of PLA and PETG can be significantly improved by introducing fillers, such as glass and iron nanoparticles (NPs), into the polymer matrix.
