Microglia express GPNMB in the brains of Alzheimer's disease and Nasu-Hakola disease

Abstract: Glycoprotein non-metastatic melanoma protein B (GPNMB) is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein first identified in low-metastatic human melanoma cell lines as a regulator of tumor growth.
