“…After Mucin1 was bound to the immunoaffinity layer, the signal was measured using DPV, and the LOD and linear range were calculated to be 0.04 U/mL and 0.1-50 U/mL, respectively. Devi et al developed a microfluidic CysC immunosensor based on a CS-GO nanocomposite [45]. The electrode was modified using a nanocomposite and the antibodies against CysC were immobilized using EDC/NHS chemistry.…”

“…Compared with the modified GCE, this paper-based sensor shows a LOD of 2.6 pg mL À1 with a sensitivity of around 15.5 mA ng À1 . 133 Yang and his team with the concept of a laser-engraved (LEG) wearable bio-sensor that could be mass-produced to detect tyrosine levels (TYR) and uric acid (UA). A chemical sensor (LEG-CS) over polyimide for measuring low-level TYR and UA, a physical sensor (LEG-PS) for temperature and respiration monitoring and a multi-inlet micro-fluidic module for dynamic sweat sampling are all included in this device.…”

“…In the eye, CysC is secreted by the retinal pigment epithelium and could contribute to the progression of macular degeneration (Zurdel et al., 2002; Paraoan et al., 2010), thus explaining the correlation between serum CysC and DR. Notably, CysC has been analysed in serum using an electrochemical immunosensor with high sensitivity (Devi & Krishnan, 2020). Using 1.2 mg/L as a cut‐off value the device showed 85% accuracy in predicting DR in a small ( n = 10) cohort of clinical samples.…”
