Micro‐Raman spectroscopy (MRS) and surface‐enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) on organic colourants in archaeological pigments

Abstract: Direct identification of organic colourants in heterogeneous matrices of cultural heritage objects with very little or no sampling remains a challenging analytical task.
