“…The process-related damage shown by the number of voids is correlated with the Barkhausen noise parameter M max , the upper harmonic amplitude A 3, and the harmonic distortion factor K. The number of voids with a size greater than 150 µm 2 , was determined by means of cross-sectional topography analyses in [6]. In previous investigations, it was found for steel DP800 that before heat treatment, the upper harmonic amplitude A 3 is the most suitable parameter for damage characterization compared to higher harmonic amplitudes [30,31]. The evolution of the curves in Figure 5 is quasi-simultaneous, describing an appropriate correlation of the micromagnetic parameters and the damage evolution.…”
