Micro‐laser myomectomy technique to enhance reproductive potential: A preliminary report

Abstract: Uterine myomas may be removed utilizing the carbon dioxide laser by direct and indirect vaporization, or by direct and indirect excision. The advantages of utilizing the CO2 laser are (1) improved hemostasis; (2) more precision, thus removing only abnormal tissue; and (3) the ability to remove fibroids from previously inaccessible areas.
