Micro-fluid through aramid/cellulose nanocomposite membranes and its filtration efficiency

Abstract: The paper concerns micro scale flow in a membrane consisted of aramid nanofibers and cellulose nanofibers via layer-by-layer technique. Surface morphology, surface wettability, and filtration performance are experimentally studied to elucidate the basic micro-fluid properties. The effect of the thickness on filtration efficiency is theoretically analyzed, and the paper concludes that the membrane is extremely effect to remove nanoparticles.
