“…Reddy et al 6 made a numerical analysis of an unsteady MHD laminar boundary layer flow over an accelerated moving vertical plate by considering the effects of chemical reaction, heat absorption, and radiation. Agarwalla and Ahmed 7 studied MHD mass transfer flow past an inclined plate embedded in a porous medium in presence of thermal radiation and heat source. The effect of thermal radiation on the MHD flow of a viscous incompressible fluid past an impulsively started oscillating plate has been investigated by Appidi et al 8 The effect of energy flux generated due to concentration gradient, on the flow characteristics is called the Dufour effect or diffusion-thermo effect.…”

“…The hydromagnetic free convective flow of electrically and thermally conducting and chemically reacting fluid through a porous regime has become an emerging topic of research in recent years due to its many industrial applications such as aerodynamics, polymer processing, and nuclear engineering. Inspired from these industrial applications, Alagoa and Tay, 1 Singh et al, 2 Barik et al, 3 Manglesh and Gorla, 4 Ibrahim et al, 5 Iqbal et al, 6 Mishra and Adhikary, 7 Usman et al, 8 Ramesh, 9 Falade et al, 10 Agarwalla and Ahmed, 11 Hosseinzadeh et al, 12 Naresh Kumar et al, 13 and Singh et al 14 studied the hydromagnetic free convective flow of a conducting fluid through a porous regime by considering various physical models of the problem. It is worth noting that for some fluids, there is a nonlinear relation between shear stress and the rate of shear strain, and such fluids are named as non‐Newtonian fluids.…”
