Methods of nonlinear random vibration analysis

Abstract: Abstract. The various techniques available for the analysis of nonlinear systems subjected to random excitations are briefly introduced and an overview of the progress which has been made in this area of research is presented. The discussion is mainly focused on the basis, scope and limitations of the solution techniques and not on specific applications.
