Methodologies for validating ray-based forward model using finite element method in ultrasonic array data simulation

Abstract: Abstract. In this paper, a methodology of using finite element (FE) model to validate a ray-based model in the simulation of full matrix capture (FMC) ultrasonic array data set is proposed.
