Methadone Toxicity Fatalities: A Review of Medical Examiner Cases in a Large Metropolitan Area*

Abstract: Over the past several years, Medical Examiners in Kentucky and around the nation have observed a dramatic rise in drug intoxication deaths involving the prescription medication methadone.
