Metformin inhibits EV71‑induced pyroptosis by upregulating DEP domain‑containing mTOR‑interacting protein

Abstract: Enterovirus 71 (EV71) infection is one of the main causes of severe hand, foot and mouth disease (HFMD), which is usually accompanied by a marked inflammatory response.
