Abstract: Stable isotope labeling (SIL) techniques have the potential to enhance different aspects of liquid chromatography–high-resolution mass spectrometry (LC-HRMS)-based untargeted metabolomics methods including metabolite detection, annotation of unknown metabolites, and comparative quantification.
