Metamorphic network systems based on autonomous WDM devices

Abstract: We propose a metamorphic network system, based on autonomously controlled wavelength division multiplexed devices. We will address the issue of how to assure and manage wavelength accuracy and controllability over the whole network to implement practical optical path routed networks.
