Metamaterial-based acoustic camera enhancements

Abstract: Acoustic cameras are a common approach to solving the challenge of sound localisation in non-destructive testing. The required microphone arrays, however, are often cumbersome: a large number of sensors is needed to achieve the required accuracy and their mutual distances need to be maximized to increase spatial resolution.
