Metallkomplexe mit anionischen Liganden von Elementen der 4. Hauptgruppe, III. Homogene und heterogene (Trichlorstannido)metallat(0)‐Komplexe von Chrom, Molybdän und Wolfram

~ ~~ ~ Das Trichlorstannid-Ion, [SnCl&, zeigt ein ausgepragtes KomplexbildungsvennBgen gepnuber Ubergangsmetallen in niedrigen Oxidationsstufen. Mit den Hexacarbonylen M(CO)6 (M = Cr, Mo, W) bildet es die Monosubstitutionsprodukte [M(CO)sSnCl3]-(2a-4~). Die trisubstituierten Derivate [M(CO)3(SnC13)3]3-(2c, 3c) sind leicht aus den Halbsandwich-Komplexen M(CO)3(CaH6) zuganglich. Die Hexakis(trichlontannido)metallat(0)-Komplexe, [M(SnC13)6]6-(M = Cr, Mo) (2e, 3e), deren Existenz bereits ein beachtliches Ruokbindungs-vermBgen des [SnCI,]--Liganden aufzeigt, bilden sich bei der Umsetzung von M(C&& mit [SnCI3]-in Tetrahydrofuran bzw. Aceton. Lediglich CO-Substitution zum [(~-CgHg)v(Co)2-(SnC13)2]2-(5) findet selbst unter UV-Bedingungen am x-CgHgV(C0)4 statt. LBsungsmittelfreie Sake sgmtlicher (Trich1orstannido)metallat-Komplexe erhiilt man mit volumintisen Kationen, z. B. [NR# (R = CH3, C2H5). Metal Complexes with Anionic LiganaS of Elements of tbe Fourtb Main Croup, IUl) Metahte(0) Complexes of chromium, Molybdenium, aad Tmgsteo Containing SKI3-LAgnmb [SnCI3]-shows a considerable tendency to form complexes with transition metals in low oxidation states. With the hexacarbonyls of the group VIb it reacts by substitution of only one CO to yield [M(CO)sSnCI3]-(M : Cr, Mo, W) (2a-4a). The trisubstituted derivatives [M(CO)3(SnC13)3]3-(M = Cr, Mo) (2c, 3c) may easily be obtained from the half-sandwich complexes M(C.&)(C0)3, and the homogeneous metalate(0) complexes [M(sIIC13)6]6-(M = Cr, Mo) (2e, 3e) are prepared by the reaction of M(C6Hs)z with [SnC13]-in tetrahydrofurane or acetone. The existence of these latter compounds shows already a noticeable ability of back-bonding of this ligand. Only a displacement of carbonmonoxide to yield [(7r-C5H5)-V(CO)2(SnC13)2]2-OCCUIS, if x-C5HsV(CO)r is allowed to react under u. v. irradiation with [SnCI3]-. If all these metalate complexes are treated with voluminous cations like [NR4]+ they may be obtained free of solvent.
