Anschlieflend wird dae Lijsungsmittel i. Pu'atriumhydrogensultlosung entfernt. Die benzolische Phase wurde getrocknet und … Show more

“…In addition to lactamization of glutamate, Ce III , Ce IV , La III , Th IV , and Zr IV ions accelerate the hydrolytic deamidation of glutamine and asparagine residues. 12 In our experiments, HPLC-ESI analyses of the Zr IV reactions detected the production of apparent trace quantities of the following three sets of insulin chain B peptides: Bw(1) and Bw(2); Dw(1) and Dw(2); and Fw(1) and Fw(2) (Table S1 in ESI). We then employed ESI-MS/MS sequencing to show that these fragments were produced by deamidation of parent peptides B, D, and F: in Bw(1), Dw(1), and Fw(1), Gln4 in the corresponding parent was converted to Glu4; in Bw(2), Dw(2), and Fw(2), Asn3 and Gln4 were deamidated to Asp3 and Glu4 (Fig.…”

“…In fact, Zr(IV) ions are known to accelerate hydrolytic deamidation of Gln and Asn residues. 97 The majority of literature reports claim that asparaginyl residues are more susceptible to hydrolytic deamidation compared to glutamine residues. 98,99 However, our assumption that Gln4 gets deamidated faster than Asn3 is based on the paper of Cepeda et al 100 where faster deamidation of Gln4 compared to Asn3 occurs in oxidized insulin chain B.…”
