Metal-Polymer Catalysts in the Reaction of Benzene Hydrogenation

Abstract: Metal-polymer catalysts in the reaction of hydrogenation of benzene have been studied. Salts of nickel, palladium, and H2PtCl6·6H2O were used as metals, which were deposited on polymer carriers, in particular, on polyethylenepolyamine, poly-2-methyl-5-vinylpyridine, styrene copolymer with maleic anhyd¬ride, and poly-4-vinylpyridine.
