Metabolic Syndrome: Bridging the Gap from Childhood to Adulthood

Abstract: SUMMARYChildhood and adolescence are particularly vulnerable periods of life to the effects of cardiometabolic risk and later development of atherosclerosis, hypertension, and diabetes mellitus.
