Abstract:Dielectric meta-surfaces have emerged as an effective
way for fabricating
chiral optical devices, and the chiral meta-surfaces are usually constituted
by periodic chiral meta-atom structures. Here, we report a chiral
meta-surface consisting of nonchiral silicon nitride rectangular nanorods.
The chiral hotspots are generated between the staggered nanorods due
to the coupling between the two nearest neighbor nanorod units. 14.6%
macroscopic circular dichroism (CD) is achieved experimentally with
larger area stag… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
