“…The ATS has been used frequently to measure turnover intention among nursing workforces in various healthcare settings [25-32]. Barlow and Zangoro [33] conducted a meta-analysis study aimed at determining the consistency of reliability estimates and evidence of construct validity of the ATS scores across nursing studies in the USA. The overall mean weighted effect size of reliability from 12 studies was .89, indicating excellent reliability and construct validity.…”

“…The coefficient alpha internal consistency of this scale was 0.84 for a sample size of 1525 (Hinshaw & Atwood ). It is a widely used instrument and has strong psychometric properties (Barlow & Zangaro ).…”

“…To measure intention to leave, the Chinese version of Anticipated Turnover Scale (C‐ATS) was used. C‐ATS was translated and back‐translated by the PI (Liu, ) from the Anticipated Turnover Scale (Hinshaw & Atwood, ), which has been demonstrated to have validity and has been used worldwide (Barlow & Zangaro, ). The C‐ATS was validated by S‐CVI/Ave, which was 0.96.…”
