Message Forwarding in Sparsely Connected Wireless Networks Using Rateless Codes

Abstract: Rateless Codes can reduce retransmission costs over erasure channels. Existing routing algorithms using rateless codes assume densely connected networks and pre-decide the forwarder nodes which subsequently participate in message forwarding.
