“…In recent years, some studies have shown that nanoparticles are an effective, green, and pollution-free means to control mycotoxins. Savi et al (2022) found that mesoporous silica nanoparticles (MSNs) incorporated with zinc oxide (MSNs-ZnO) had a better antifungal ability, inhibiting the growth of F. graminearum (81%) after treatment with a high concentration of MSNs-ZnO (1.0 mg/mL), destroying the morphology of the fungus, and reducing DON production with a degradation rate of 89% (decrease 4ug/mL). Selenium nanoparticles (100 mg/mL) derived from Trichoderma harzianum JF309 have been proven to significantly improve the control functionalities against F. graminearum (76%), which may be due to the interaction of multiple substances to change the arrangement and movement of the original state, from random, nondirective to regulatory, thereby improving the antifungal ability.…”
