“…They indicated that the random and selective removal of aluminum from the LTA structure results in the release of silicon followed by complete crystal disintegration. In our previous study, the LTA-dissolved HCl solution contains entirely distinct aluminum and silicon precursors [9][10][11]. Thus, the pure silica mesoporous particles were obtained from LTA-dissolved in HCl solution of more than 3.0 M. The LTA-dissolved HCl solution contains entirely distinct Al and Si species.…”

“…The high surface area and large pore sizes of mesoporous materials have considerable interest in the potential use as catalyst for conversion of high molecular weight petroleum fractions, which have high diffusion resistance throughout the microporosity of zeolites. Our group has reported the synthesis of ordered mesoporous aluminosilicates using LTA-dissolved hydrochloric acid (HCl) solutions [9][10][11]. This method proceeds in two steps: (1) zeolite LTA crystals are dissolved in an HCl solution to produce a homogeneous solution containing aluminum and silicon sources, and (2) a PEO 106 PPO 70-PEO 106 triblock copolymer (Pluronic F127) coassembles with the inorganic species, followed by a hydrothermal treatment.…”

“…3a and b, respectively. The 29 Si NMR spectra have signals at À110, À102, À98, À92, and À88 ppm; these can be assigned to 4 ] silica units, respectively [20,21]. The structural changes for zeolite rho for various calcination temperatures were investigated using 29 Si NMR, and the results are presented in Table 1.…”
