Mesenteric hydatid cyst: An unusual presentation

Abstract: Hydatidosis is a common zoonosis that affects a large number of humans and animals, especially in poorly developed countries. Mesenteric hydatid cysts are rare intra abdominal lesions with variable clinical symptoms and signs that make preoperative diagnosis diffi cult. The treatment is surgical excision followed by mebendazole for four months.
