Mesenchymal stem cell surgery, rescue, and regeneration in glaucomatous optic neuropathy

Abstract: Background Glaucomatous optic neuropathy (GON) is an anatomofunctional impairment of the optic nerve triggered by glaucoma. Recently, growth factors (GF) have been shown to produce retinal neuroenhancement.
