“…The structure of the mercury-containing moiety is unknown, but may involve a linear Hg3' group (19)(20)(21), in which the mercury would have the formal oxidation state +2/3. By analogy with other compounds containing this unusual cation (19)(20)(21), a reasonable structure for the complex would be 4.…”

The complexes [π-C6H6RuX2]2 (X = Cl, Br, I, SCN) have been prepared and characterized. They react with phosphorus donors to give the monomeric π-C6H6RuX2PR3, and with cyanide and hydride ions to give cyclohexadienyl and cyclohexadiene complexes.

“…In order to minimize or eliminate such problems and still obtain well-defined --.r--shaped voltammograms, one may resort to the use of a rotating disc electrode, (22) apply pulse polarography, (23) or construct the voltammogram from current-time curves. (18,19,24,25) The second approach is probably the simplest to implement, assuming a pulse polarograph is available.…”

“…Recently we have reinvestigated the system in AICla-NaCI melts. (18) In the melt saturated with NaCl (basic) only two voltammetric waves of equal height were obtained. In more acidic melts and at low temperatures the voltammogram indicated an intermediate oxidation state, Hg~+, between Hg~+ and Hg.…”

“…Where (ref) Torsi(1971Torsi( ,10,1900Torsi( -1902 Through a series of the substitution of equation into equation, a pCl-electrode was yield.Hence, in this case, working electrode in the cell may be used as a pCl-one. Our purpose in the paper is to calculate the dissociation constant K and to obtain the dependence of pK on T. Considering the dissociation reaction, other thermodynamic quantities were obtained.…”
In a room temperature ionic liquid RTILs) BMIInCl4, he equilibrium constants were determined potentiometrically for the dissociation reaction: 2InCl4-= In2Cl7-+ Cl-in the temperature range 313-348 K. The equilibrium constants K= [Cl-][In2Cl7-]/[InCl4-]2, pK = 76.43 -780.9/T -0.115T on different temperature. According to the thermodynamic relationship and the parameters of above equation, the dissociation entropy was determined.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
