Abstract:Objective: To determine the sensitivity and specificity of the Mentzer and RDW index to assist in the diagnosis of iron deficiency anemia in first trimester pregnant women at RSIA Asih.Methods: This research was conducted by a cross-sectional method using the medical records of 100 samples of first trimester pregnant women with iron deficiency anemia by consecutive sampling and 100 samples of controls, which is also first trimester pregnant women with anemia.
