Mentoring in Academia: Professors’ Experiences and Vicissitudes in Two Mexican Universities

Abstract

vistas semiestructuradas que se aplicaron a veinte profesores, que fueron seleccionados mediante un muestreo intencional. Los relatos más relevantes se organizaron y analizaron de acuerdo con la "Perspectiva Ecológica de Bronfenbrenner", que se adaptó en dos dimensiones: 1) sistema ontogénico, antecedentes educativos y referentes culturales y 2) micropolítica, tutorías y relaciones que establecen en el ámbito laboral. Los resultados más relevantes demuestran que estas estrategias de acompañamiento se encuentran determinadas por afinidades temáticas y lazos de fraternidad, que potencian el intercambio y difusión de nuevos conocimientos.
