“…En cuanto a los procesos de recuperación, no se han hallado diferencias estadísticamente significativas, puesto que es en la adquisión donde se objetivan las dificultades, contraponiéndose a aquellos estudios que defienden que el problema en el domino mnésico en la EM se encuentra en un problema de recuperación de la información (Arango-Lasprilla, DeLuca y Chiaravalloti, 2007;Bobholz et al, 2006;Grafman, Rao y Bernardin, 1991;Rao, Leo y Aubin-Faubert, 1989). En cuanto a la discriminación, se han encontrado diferencias estadísticamente significativas entre ambos grupos, con rendimientos más pobres en discriminación en los sujetos con EM, resultados que irían en línea con publicaciones más recientes como la de Matias- Guiu et al (2020) quienes defienden que, junto a una adquisición inicial más pobre, estos pacientes comenten un mayor número de intrusiones y, por ende, discriminan peor. El rendimiento mnésico de los pacientes con EM suele estar relacionado con un mal funcionamiento de estructuras como el tálamo, corteza cingulada, el hipocampo, la amígdala o el fascículo uncinado (Anderson et al, 2010;Filippo, Portaccio, Mancini y Calabresi, 2018;Karavasilis et al, 2019;Keser et al, 2018;Longoni et al, 2015;Paulesu et al, 1996).…”
