Abstract: The electrochemical nitrogen and nitrate reduction reactions (E-NRR and E-NO 3 RR) promise to provide decentralized and fossil-fuel-free ammonia synthesis, and as a result, E-NRR and E-NO 3 RR research has surged in recent years.
