Abstract: Age-associated neurodegenerative diseases such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), Parkinson’s disease (PD) and Alzheimer’s disease (AD) are an unmet health need, with significant economic and societal implications, and an ever-increasing prevalence.
