Abstract:Abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) is a life‐threatening vascular disease but effective drugs for treatment of AAA are still lacking. Recently, erythropoietin (EPO) is reported to induce AAA formation in apolipoprotein‐E knock out (ApoE−/−) mice but an effective antagonist is unknown.
