Mediation, arbitration and negotiation

Abstract: Abstract. We compare three common dispute resolution processes -negotiation, mediation, and arbitration -in the framework of Crawford and Sobel (1982). Under negotiation, the two parties engage in (possibly arbitrarily long) face-to-face cheap talk.
