Abstract: Background: Median raphe cysts (MRC) are epithelial-lined cystic lesions of the genital area that do not communicate with the urethra or the overlying epidermis. Immunohistochemically, MRC show positivity for cytokeratin (CK) 5-6, CK 7, carcinoembryonic antigen, p63 and uroplakin III (URO III).
