Media Buku Bergambar Dalam Mengenalkan Sapaan Kekerabatan Bahasa Minang Pada Remaja Nagari Duo Koto

Abstract

This reseach was motivated by the beginning of the waning use of Minag language kship among teenagers. Nagari duo koto teenagers tend to use the greeting of Indonesia-langguage kinsip in everyday life. This matter can see on the use of kinship in the family environment. By creating a picture book, the greeting of Minang language is expected to be a teenageras the next generation of Minang tribes to understand the importance of Minang language to be maintained and developed. The purpose of this research is to (1) Making pictorial book media in introducing the Minang language kinship to adolencents (2) Knowing the response of adolescents to picture book greeting kinship Minang language as a mean to foster a sense of love and pride in the Minang language. The method used in this study is R & D development research which refers to the model developed by Borg ad Gall to produce certain products. The new product produced in this development is a cultural picture book and Minangkabu clothing custom in introducing the kinship greeting of Minang language to teenagers.the technique used in this study is interview and questionnaire technques. Interviews are used to collect data needs analysis to find the problem to be studied. Questionnaire is used to obtain good or not making this media for teen reading material. The results of this study are product made in the form of picture book with colors and images that attract teenager's attention. Other than that, the images displayed also relate to Minang customs and culture, other than that, based on 86.66% material expert validation, media expert 80.95% and adolescent response 82.75%, pitcures books are very good to be used for reading material for teenagers of Nagari Duo Koto in understanding the greeing of the Minang language.
