Abstract: The interaction between cancer cells and stromal cells contributes to the pathogenesis of various types of tumors in the tumor microenvironment (TME). Macrophages (Mφs), a type of stromal cell, are transformed into tumor-associated Mφs (TAMs) after integrating within solid tumors.
