Abstract: Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is an extremely prevalent disease, and the presence and severity of liver fibrosis are considered one of the most important factors determining its prognosis. Hepatic stellate cells (HSCs) are essential in hepatic fibrogenesis associated with NAFLD.
