Mechanism of Neuroprotective Mitochondrial Remodeling by PKA/AKAP1

Abstract: The mitochondrial signaling complex PKA/AKAP1 protects neurons against mitochondrial fragmentation and cell death by phosphorylating and inactivating the mitochondrial fission enzyme Drp1.
