Abstract:Stress cardiomyopathy is a unique heart syndrome that is characterized by reversible left ventricular apical wall motion abnormalities and is commonly known as Takotsubo syndrome. In transient left ventricular apical ballooning, myocardium lengthening stress is in a high energy-demand state.
