Abstract:This study investigated the mechanical response of regular and lightweight concrete under bending stresses. We compared the stress‐strain relationships, densities, and deformation capacities of these two types of concrete to highlight their key differences. Lightweight concrete, with a lower density of 1800 kg/m³, offers significant weight reductions, making it ideal for applications with weight constraints.
