Mechanical Properties of Composite Plates at Different Conditions

Abstract: In this study; the effects of thermal aging on the mechanical properties of composite materials were investigated. In study, eight layered woven glass fiber reinforced epoxy composite plates were used. Thermal aging was performed in an electric furnace using time and temperature change parameters. The time changes were 1, 3 and 5 hours, and 50 0 C, 100 0 C, and 150 0 C were used for temperature changes.
