Abstract: The surface modification of aramid fiber plain fabric (PPTA) was conducted through phthalic anhydride treatment and anhydrous aluminum chloride (AlCl3) catalysis, aiming to enhance the interfacial bonding strength between aramid fiber fabric and bisphenol A diglycidyl ether (DGEBA) resin.
