Mechanical Branch Wounding Alters the BVOC Emission Patterns of Ficus Plants

Abstract: Tree leaves emit biogenic volatile organic compounds (BVOCs) in response to mechanical wounding by insect folivores. However, BVOCs are also released from leaves in response to damage to other tree organs.
