“…The cutting of fibers was due to the presence of shear forces during mixing. The fiber length of everX was evaluated in several studies and results showed different ranges of short fiber length values, namely 1.3-2.0, 0.1-2.0 and 0.3-1.9 mm 20,21,25) . In this study, the range of fiber length in everX was 0.07-2.5 mm.…”

“…In this study, the range of fiber length in everX was 0.07-2.5 mm. It was said that the difference between fiber length ranges might be due to the processing operations, and that the processing generated fiber fractures and resulted in a wider range of fiber lengths 21) . More research is needed to investigate the difference between the initial and final fiber length distribution before and after the mixing procedure, when different speeds and mixing times are applied, to help understand how the mixing procedure influence the fiber length and effectively control the final fiber length after fabrication.…”

“…Evaluating the mechanical and structural characteristics of materials,16 flexural strength,17 and color stability18 has been recently tested nanofilled materials, but there is a lack of studies evaluating adhesive resistance after repair. Rodrigues et al8 observed that the microstructure of composite resins influences average bond strength values, wherein a microhybrid resin displays a higher strength compared to a nanoparticle resin, corroborating results found in our study.…”

“…One material from this category uses the brand name everX Posterior and, similarly to flowable bulk‐fill composite, can also be placed in bulk . Fiber‐reinforced composites have been shown to possess high fracture toughness . Nonetheless, they must also be coated with a top layer of conventional particulate filler composite to protect the fibers and improve the wear resistance during masticatory function .…”
