Mechanical and Durability Analysis of Recycled Materials

Abstract: The mechanical and durability properties were best at 45% GGBS and 5% Waste Glass with 0.4 water/cement ratio. The recycled materials implemented for mix proportion were waste glass provided considerably to enhance its properties when added with GGBS. In most of the research work, the effect of WG and GGBS in concrete as a partial substitution of fine aggregate and cement individually is analyzed. Previous studies only show the individual impact of these concrete recycled materials on mechanical and durability… Show more

“…Under such conditions, it is possible to use a wavenumber transform in the axial direction in combination with a two-dimensional finite or boundary element model [9][10][11][12]. The full three-dimensional solution can be recovered by an inverse Fourier transform over wavenumber [13][14][15][16]. This so-called 2.5D approach has been used widely to study railway vibration, it is more efficient than a fully dimensional approach.…”

“…For example, if one can have 20 binary details, then the number of leaf nodes alone would be 2 20 . The chi-square value [48,49] is used as a means of testing for statistical significance. The attribute chosen for branching is usually selected to maximize the information gained.…”
