“…A "questão extra" que pretendeu avaliar a satisfação dos pacientes com o uso das próteses oculares, apresentou a média dos escores com o valor mais elevado (m=90). Pelas médias dos escores observados podemos inferir que a qualidade de vida da nossa amostra se apresentou satisfatória.Este dado vai de encontro comRuiters et al (2021) e divergede Casslén et al (2020) eChotprasert et al (2022), que consideram que pacientes sem globo ocular, se mostram com pobre QV, embora considerem que a reabilitação com prótese ocular tende a melhorar este resultado. Por esta razão em nosso estudo incluímos a "questão extra", que pretendeu avaliar a satisfação dos pacientes com o uso das próteses oculares e encontramos que esta média foi a mais elevada (m=90), o que nos faz inferir que ela foi determinante para a QV satisfatória.Com o intuito de verificarmos possíveis diferenças entre as categorias da variável "causa da perda", os resultados mostraram que as três categorias apresentaram diferenças ditas estatisticamente não-significantes (p> 0,050), ou seja, seus valores são estatisticamente semelhantes (tabela 5.4).…”
